A mostly quiet night of 4-6 goal games, except for a bench-clearing brawl in LA's barnburner, and Crosby and Gaborik helping the Lightning dismantle the Devils.

Since we didn't come up with a new system, they'll work the same way they used to before the new divisions were made.Tampa Bay GM wrote:How do playoff seedings work now?

No, the old seeding system. Division winners go 1-3, remaining top 5 teams per conference go 4-8.Tampa Bay GM wrote:Top two from each division and then two wildcards?SharksGM wrote:Since we didn't come up with a new system, they'll work the same way they used to before the new divisions were made.Tampa Bay GM wrote:How do playoff seedings work now?
I'm open to changing that because I'm not a fan of division leaders getting a top 3 seed automatically even if they finish out of the top 8, but that doesn't happen often.
