Oilers accept trade. I say a tearful good bye to Svensson - he would have been a great line mate to Eberle. Bring in Schenn to stabilize my D-line.
Plante and Schenn's $$ are similar so salaries are ok.

Confirm. Playoffs for this season were a pipe dream so I don't mind moving Schenn for a guy that will have similar defensive abilities (not as developed yet) just minus the offense and a guy that will play my 1st line right away. This is exactly the type of move I had in mind when I put Schenn on the block...lookin forward to seeing how these 2 guys develop.
