Columbus and Carolina receive an insane number of PP chances and shellack their respective opponents with shots, Holmstrom's last minute heroics fall short of victory while Giroux and Briere play the heroes in Philadelphia. The Rangers bounce back from an awful showing Sunday and SJ continues to falter despite numerous personnel moves. http://ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip will give you the rest of the details.

Phoenix and Tampa Bay at the top of the standings half way through the season....crazy.

gg Washington, not even David Clarkson's 5 giveaways could stop Martin and Martin from getting the W.

Well atleast we finally got more than 20 shots..........but allow 11 PP chances. Least we only let one PP goal in.

Nice comeback from Sunday's brutality. Anisimov is getting better each week, and Modin continues his bizarrely effective play on the PP.

Well if the real-life Lightning managed to land Brodeur, Jagr and Chara I'd definitely re-evaluate my Eastern conference basement prediction for them.

Also now that I got over my initial depression at losing yet again, I notice my 'top' line was on for every Phoenix goal and -3 on the night. I don't know whether to blame the coach for sticking to a clearly terrible matchup or whether the players deserve the credit.

On the plus side, way to go Logan Couture on the first of many goals. Just one assist away from a Gordie Howe hat trick too.
