Was planning on being done after the Horcoff trade, but Boston re-appeared and was ready to make things work.

Colby will round out a gritty, veteran 3rd line well with a nice blend of defensive-mindedness and physicality. I believe we now possess all the intangibles necessary for a Stanley Cup championship.

The draft picks hurt to lose, but it was one of the reasons I stockpiled late round picks. Always come in handy around the deadline. Armstrong is another expiring contract I have recently acquired, and if not re-signed his rights should garner some sort of a small return.

Confirmed.

I could use the draft picks, and Armstrong's play was worse than Rensfeldt. I'm not a fan of dealing within my division, but I don't think it matters this year anyway.
