To Columbus:
Kendall McFaull (90)
PHI 4th 2015
To Philadelphia
Connor Murphy (75)
I've put myself into quite a bind financially and with seven defensemen all making 3M+, somebody had to go. That somebody is Connor Murphy. In retrospect, I overdrafted him as a late first-rounder a few years ago. He's a very solid, reliable player back there, but his job can be done by somebody making less money. In McFaull, I pick up a high CON guy with a little bit of development left and save almost 1.3M in cap space. McFaull is a tradeable asset down the line with his CON and a reasonable contract for a bottom pairing guy. I wanted to do a straight dump, but that wasn't going to happen and I'm a bit pressed for time to get things figured out and get below the cap.

ACCEPTED.
As a GM we're always looking to upgrade our team, and that exactly what I did by trading for Murhpy. As I've got plenty of cap space, I could afford to acquire a 3M+ player, who is a gonna be in my def. top 6 for a while.
Thanks Adam, and welcome back!
