Accepted

Reasoning: My main objective for this off-season was to start to build a team around the centerpieces already in place. Kesler fits perfectly into a second line shut down role; in addition, he'll provide secondary scoring behind Seguin and possesses leadership skills that will continue to develop.

The memory of Vincent Lecavalier's CREI has not been lost, even though it's been over two years. While the Bolts' have a number of players with great pugilist skills, Boll provides elite level toughness with some offensive upside. I'm hoping to shore up some of his weaknesses and possibly use him in a bigger role then his overall rating dictates; however, worst case scenario he will provide grit and sandpaper in a bottom six role.

Giving up two first round picks, one of which is a top 10 selection, is tough; TB's prospect cupboard is bare. On the other hand, the Bolt's still possess two 2nd round selections along with two 1st round picks in 2014. While this is possibly a slight over-payment for the services of Kesler and Boll, the shedding of Johnsson's contract and the step back into the Eastern Conference heavyweight arena makes up for it in the eyes of Tampa Ban fans.

gl VAN, welcome to EHEC

Make sure to change it to Colorado's first, not my own.

Vancouver accepts.

Since most of the players on the present Vancouver team, don't play the style I prefer, I needed to acquire the pieces necessary to make this team my own, and 2 1st rounders does that nicely.

Good luck Tampa Bay, pleasure dealing with you.

Now if I could just get rid of the Sedin sisters.

Approved.

The makeover in Vancouver takes another step, cornering the market on the first round. Justin makes a deal to get even tougher and closer to the playoffs in 2014.

Just to clarify, Ryan Kesler has a no trade clause from before the new league Rulebook took effect. It was not because of a franchise tag. (Sorry Jason, I should have noticed that.) Jason went through the process of asking for it to be removed and I already accepted because I assumed it was from a franchise tag. I guess this sets the precedent that we will not honor any no trade clauses prior to when the EHEC Rulebook took effect.

Trade entered. Kesler traded manually through players.ehm and NTC removed.
