CBJ/WPG

CBJ send: Alex Burrows (71)
WPG send: Troy Brouwer (60)

Reasoning: Not pleased with the 8-9-1 start thus far. Roster is loaded with hit and grind types whose offensive production comes as bonus. With even tighter line settings H+G spots are limited.

Burrows is a better top nine fit for the rest of the guys in place. Wanted a shake up and the salaries are nearly identical.

Columbus confirms.

I can't take Burrows's shitty PE rating and Brouwer is a better fit than Paille at the 3rd line LW H&G spot. With Armstrong out the next week and a half, I can just plug Brouwer in there until he gets back. I probably could have gotten more for Burrows had I made it known that he was available, as I have been asked about him before, but this is a simple transaction without draft picks or any other bullshit. Salaries essentially match up and I can always cut the cord with Brouwer next year when Heikki Liedes is ready for a third line role. I know Burrows is definitely a better player, and could have added a mid-round pick or something, but this was a simple deal that benefits both sides.

I'm a shark and I approve this message. Value seems fair on both sides.

Entered.

Need to check players.ehm for CON drops. Nothing showed up in either news feed.
