To Columbus:
Sergei Gonchar (70)
To Tampa:
CBJ 3rd 2013
Reasoning: A small price to pay for a helpful asset. Gonchar's going to be just my 7th guy with 70+ LE, so getting some experience is a nice addition to my team. I definitely have the defensive guys to offset Gonchar's average defensive skill. I know I'm helping Tampa out of some financial trouble, but I can easily afford Gonchar and still be over 1.5M under the cap. Daniel Krejci isn't really developing the way I was hoping he would, so I think getting some more playing time in Springfield would benefit him. I do have some concerns about Gonchar's age and some regression, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. For now, he's a solid addition that will bolster my powerplay and help me offensively as a whole, since my team's only averaging 2.6 goals per game so far.

Re: Tampa Bay/Columbus
Confirmed, having 20 million in healthy scratches and buyouts combined is sick. Moving Gonchar allows for some breathing room headed into mid-season when some real NHL level talent could be available.

Trade approved.
Gonchar only has a couple of seasons left and has a heavy contract to boot.
