Re: October 23, 2012
Robyn Regehr will sit out the next game for taking out Marian Hossa for 3 weeks.
Magnus Paarjarvi-Svensson picks up the first hat trick of the EHEC season with an OT game winner. The Caps and Jets play a real snoozer of a game, with the Caps prevailing. The Jackets get back on track for a night against the Wings, while the Wild stay hot with a 3-2 win over the Habs. Boston, New York and Pittsburgh take care of business. The Kings and Preds play an entertaining late night affair, taking advantage of Nashville on a back-to-back.

Nice work Tuuka, have a cookie. Matter of fact, everyone can have a cookie on the road to Anaheim.
Re: October 23, 2012
1. The Wild couldn't get an easier 7 games to start the year off.
2. There's no way I'm letting someone else get my division title.
3. I'd rather have a whining Brad around than no Brad at all. (Those lines are just silly)
4. I'm wondering what the fuck is up with the Jets.
5. One should not complain about losing to LA.
6. Carolina is a great team so GREAT JOB, Bruins!
7. Bern's unstoppable, plain and simple.
8. There are LOTS of penalties this year and I mean ... A LOT.
9. I miss real life hockey.
10. I'm pissed tonight... a win in the battle of Alberta tomorrow night will do the trick.

Re: October 23, 2012
Tough call between Chris Stewart's tilt and Travis Moen's pair, but I think we'll give Stewart the fight of the night for his smackdown of Carter Ashton at the end of the second period in that lopsided Penguins win. That'll leave a mark, and some stains.

Not to take anything away from Jason's win, but no Koivu makes a huge difference (suspended).Calgary.Flames wrote:6. Carolina is a great team so GREAT JOB, Bruins!
Still missing JVR and Ranger too. And Ray fucking Emery doing work. Maybe a goaltender doesn't matter much in EHM.7. Bern's unstoppable, plain and simple.
Shot totals are up. Scoring seems to be slightly up from last year. Two things I wanted to achieve. Not sure if it's the line tactics or the penalty slider. I know a lot of teams are getting a lot of PPs, yes. I bumped the penalty slider up 10 pts I believe. May roll it back to 5 around December, just like the NHL officials would. Early in the season, they call everything because they're fresh off their meetings and all that. By December, they're back to only calling the obvious.8. There are LOTS of penalties this year and I mean ... A LOT.

Division title would be a greater bonus
