to LAK :
David Perron (65)
Aaron Palushaj (68)
2nd pick 2012 DET
to STL :
Brayden Schenn (79)
Chris Kunitz (75)
Accepted.
Perron have a very good contract, with Burns to re-sign and the end of the season, a good winger with a low contract was a need. No room for Kunitz salary next year on my roster. I know i've create a big hole at center on my second line, but i'll find a way to replace Schenn this year or next year. For now, Sheahan will take Schenn spot on the second line. Really like the positionning of Palushaj, i'll be a good fit for my 3rd line. Detroit 2nd pick will be good to. I also cut my salary cap of 2,8M, that was a big reason for doing this trade, it give me room for the deadline.

Approved.
The cap room and a high second round pick which, as Hugo notes, could be used for another trade down the road is certainly a good enough return for Schenn and the other players involved in the deal.
