Big Shawn was my favorite acquisition, 90+ in FO, PLY, HIT makes him an ideal 3rd line center. But, I'm switching Kopitar to my H&G line so Big Shawn became available.

Given our sim schedule, the value of Matthias in the present is better than waiting on the future 1st round pick. The previous transactions Calgary has made make his intentions clear and were a determining factor in this deal.
