To Colorado:
Milan Hejduk [75]
To Washington:
Colby Cohen [78]
Colorado's third round pick in 2011 (63rd overall)
Edmonton's fifth round pick in 2011 (131st overall)
Cohen is comparable to a young Brooks Orpik and will develop into a solid #5/fringe #4 defenseman with Scott Stevens-esque hitting ability. He can immediately step into my third defensive pairing next year and his low cap hit gives him an advantage over my other potential options (i.e. Schultz/Godfrey/Plekhanov).
I hate giving up Hejduk but moving him is necessary for cap relief. I don't have picks in the third or fifth rounds this year, the players I draft won't become game-breaking players but I'm sure that I can find a decent depth NHLer with the 63rd overall.

Accepted. I'm using a bit of my cap space to get some much needed consistency on the right side and I have a few more Colby Cohens in the system. Hopefully Washington can pick up something useful with the two draft picks going his way as well.
