Every home team won except for Washington, who were tied until Dylan McIlrath injured Anthony Mantha (just for 2 weeks), sparking a 3rd period line brawl with a GOALIE FIGHT (which was a tie). Damir Galin and Brandon Gormley got the perfunctory roughing calls. This motivated Columbus enough to score 2 goals in the 3rd plus the ENG insurance marker. Good morning.

Oh yeah, the Canes and Leafs also had a line brawl with another GOALIE FIGHT. Carter George beat Taylor Gauthier and whoever the pair of skaters were who didn't fight also didn't even bother to get roughing calls. I guess this was spurred on by the Canes blowing their 3rd period lead and some earlier ATI because there wasn't one this game, but then Kirill Marchenko got the OT winner for CAR.

Win against a good opponent and on the road no less. We will ignore that everyone apparently played to stalemate except line 4 going god-mode for their 8-minute night
