Gameday 4 in the West, with two teams down 3-0 and facing elimination.

In game 1, Alex Turcotte gives the Wild the lead just 1 minute in, but Thomas Vanelli ties it up 10 minutes later. Graham Knott would regain the lead for Minny with the only goal of the 2nd period. The 3rd sees a rapid exchange of goals, with Detroit tying the game, Minnesota regaining the lead, and then Detroit tying it again to force OT. In OT Brett Howden plays the hero for Detroit, nabbing the away win and forcing a game 5.

in game 2, LA scores a goal in the first and another in the second to take a 2-0 lead before San Jose pulls one back to end the 2nd at a 2-1 scoreline.
In the 3rd the Sharks score twice in 7 minutes to take a 3-2 lead, but with 4:27 left to play Luke Ripley takes out Victor Ohman for two months and earns an 8 game suspension and 5 minute major. The penalty proves costly, with LA tying the game on a 6 on 4; the Kings would then score 43 seconds into OT to claw back a win and extend the series.
