Homepage, Schedule & Results, League Save File

Filling in with a fairly straightforward sim today, just 4 games, no significant instructions or changes, and the games were mostly smooth as well... mostly...

First off a 2-0 home win for the Blue Jackets, Samsonov making 23 saves on his way to a shutout.
The Wings went up 3-0 in the first before the Wild clawed their way back in... but it was not enough.
Arizona went 0 for 4 on the powerplay but it didn't matter as they knocked off the Sharks 3-1.

And then there was the old St. Louis and Chicago rivalry match πŸ™ƒ The first period was fine, Aidan Muir putting the Hawks up 1-0... but then, early in the second, Muir injured Owen Beck for 41 days (6 games). The Blues tied it up on the powerplay, but the Hawks pulled ahead with two more goals, before Muir and Sanford fought. Then Seaman and Huberdeau got off-setting roughing penalties late in the second.
Muir scored his second of the night ~3min into the third, then fought Dylan Cozens shortly after, setting up the brawl - with roughly 7 minutes left, Chicago up 4-2, things went nuts. Muir fought Nathan Horton, Seaman fought Brassard, Pinelli fought Toffoli, Mueller fought Cohen, and yes, Helenius fought Gibson (Graves and Cernak were the pair who decided they just mostly wanted to watch).
Serron Noel capped things off with a goal in the last minute, leaving Justus Annunen with an unfortunate ~9.00gaa and .500 sv% on the night.

I know the Gordie Howe hat-trick is 1 goal, 1assist, and 1 fight, but I wonder if anyone's ever done as Muir did, recording 3 fights, 2 goals, and 1 assist (along with injuring one opponent) πŸ˜…

ARI PP: 0 of 4 (10 shots)

Not a fan...

1st star: Semyon Der-Arguchintsev

It's always gotta be one a random ex-Shark, eh? Well, at least we get a rematch at home before the brutal 7-game road trip.

That's an incredible stat line. Holy shit. He scores, he intimidates, he does it all.
