WCF Game 2 is a back and forth but straightforward affair. Tim Stutzle and Alex Turcotte spot Minnesota a 2-0 lead through the first, then Anze Kopitar and Jack Johnson spot San Jose two goals to draw even after 2 periods. The tie is broken 7:26 into the third when Kaapo Kakko slots one home for the Sharks, a goal that would eventually stand as the game winner. San Jose takes the game 3-2 and evens the series at 1-1, as we head to the twin cities for game 3 on Saturday.

I could complain about how Kovalchuk + Tkachuk have a combined 1 goal on 47 shots, or McBain + Kartayev 1 goal on 35, but... oh wait I did.

Well anyway, as long as they win 2/3 of their 1-goal games, so be it.
