Is the file updated with the improved AHL rosters from after the AHL playoffs?

What was the rule on players who were turning 20 during the AHL season? I know I can have 3 u20s on the team, but I remember some sort of rule if a 19 year old turned 20 before/after a certain date, that they didn't count against that.

I think it's Sept 15.

Anyone who turns 20 before Dec. 31st is cool.

So are you asking if you can have more than three u20 players if at least one of them hits 20 before Dec. 31?

I was. None of my ELCs would this time around, but I was under the impression that that was the rule last season.

Bingo.

That's what the AHL/CHL transfer agreement says IIRC.

Is that a list of guys that DID boost, of guys that COULD boost?

If so, Carrier should be on my list.

That did boost from looking at the Team News tab. There may be more, but I haven't looked at players.ehm yet. Seems like a low number.

Edit: For example, Cristoval Nieves boosted for me, but was not listed in the News tab.

Carrier did not boost.

Brennan Serville boosted once, up to 68 POT. Good for him; now his floor is that of a good AHL blueliner. 78 POT next year!

Tyler Hill apparently did not boost, the fucker. Oh well, he's high-risk/high-reward for a reason. Maybe next year.

At least Luca Hischier didn't POT drop.

Pesce boost is no surprise. Too bad his upside is still a #6 defenseman.

Not sure if this happened last rollover or not, but Lukas Sutter boosted for Calgary, Lukas Sieber boosted for Chicago, I believe Joel Wigle boosted once for WPG, but I'm not sure, Taylor Leier boosted for CHI, I believe Wittchow boosted once for WSH (not sure if he was already 6 POT or not), Avery Peterson boosted once for WSH, Connor Rankin boosted for TB,

Wow, Cody Corbett actually double boosted for me. With 76 CON. Pleasant surprise. Has a shot at 75 OF 73+ DF, not bad for a sixth rounder.

Going through last year's draft class, a lot of boosters remain unsigned.

Adam, did Hill sign before the rollover or the day OF the rollover? I'd be a lot more comfortable with his lack of boosting if I knew he didn't sign his contract in time. :P

I honestly don't remember and I advanced through the summer. I think he signed on 6/20, which is the day of the rollover, right? He was signed when I was going through News tabs to see who boosted.

Yeah, sounds like he signed during the rollover. I'm pretty sure a player has to already BE signed when the rollover happens. Maybe he'll triple-boost next year. :D

I think you're right -- has to be before the rollover. But he can double one year and single the next, right? Or go single-single-single? :D

I've heard anectodal evidence from fairly reliable sources that guys can boost as late as age 23, so it's not like the player only has three chances. The chance of boosting is supposed to decrease the older a player gets, though.

I've never personally heard of nor seen a triple-boost before, but yeah, a double and a single could certainly happen.

I don't think EHM has any way of knowing how many contracts a player has been signed to, but I could be wrong.

There was a 24 year old, 74 con prospect last offseason who boosted in some test sims. Forgot his name... Mike Duco maybe? He sucks either way.

Anyway, I got no boosts and EN drops to Thornton, Kronwall and Telegin, which is brutal.

Huh, that's weird; everyone has always agreed that 76 is the low-end cutoff for POT boosting eligibility.

You might be able to PHYSIC train those endurance numbers back up, but if the players have attributes above their ceilings, there's a risk those attributes will drop. That sucks though when older players end up with shitty endurance due to random bad luck. :(

I vaguely remember somebody telling me that 4x or 5x boosters can boost at 74 CON. I don't remember who, where, or when. I think I've tested it before in the draft class, but I don't remember.

I got a news message about a 25 year old prospect boost in my first EHM league many, many years ago. Carter Trevisani, I think it was. But I don't think his POT actually boosted...I just got a message saying it had.

Prospects can't boost to 7x after age 20, but they can boost up to 6x. And I don't think more than a 2x boost in a year is possible. I hope. Pierre "Stuff-of-EHM-Legend" Gemerre went from 59 to 79 in his early prospect days.

...I'm a little bummed that Nik Prokhorkin was left on the farm team before the rollover, but I'll get over it.

afaik - or recall, anyway - a player has to be signed to a contract and on the pro team roster to boost.

Being on the farm might be a problem, since EHM doesn't allow u20 to the farm. If it is, I'm really sorry, Zaq.
