Game 2 SCF, can the Blues steal home ice from the Sens after a disappointing game 1?

Kasperi Kapanen thinks so, as he scores in his first shift and first shot. The Blues nurse that one goal lead through the first and part of the second, until Hodgson ties it up. McDavid pots one of his own to give the Sens their first lead near the end of the second. So the Blues head to the third needing more goals...

... which they get, from Kapanen to tie it up - his second and final shot of the game. Owen Beck then gives the Blues back their lead, but it's short-lived as a Hanifin blast ties it up minutes later. The second half of the third resolves nothing and so we head to OT.

In OT, the Blues put up the crucial first shot, but then the refs call a diving penalty on Anton Slepyshev, a rather bold move in front of the home crowd. Fortunately for their survival, McDavid and Hodgson are the first PK unit and they go out and score almost immediately. Hodgson finishes with 2G+1A and McDavid with 1G+3A as the Sens are two wins away from a two-peat.
