Game 1 WCF, DAL vs STL. It takes a little over 7 minutes for the opening goal from Owen Pickering - the only tally in the first period. Then 2 seconds after half time, Rasmus Dahlin takes a high sticking minor - the first penalty of the game - and the Stars take 1:30 to put a shot on goal but make it count, with Burakowsky doubling the lead. Dylan Cozens breaks the ice for the blues a few minutes later and the Stars enter the third up by one.

In the third, the Blues come storming back with goals from Ohman and Cozens (again) in the first four minutes. The Stars are held to just 3 shots in the period, but one of them is Owen Pickering's own second of the game with 4 minutes to go. No need for goalie pull dramatics as we head to OT.

In OT, the Stars turn things around and get the first three shots on goal. However, the Blues remember how overtime works in the regular season and put up their first shot on goal 4:22 in, and it's exactly as you expect - a goal from Brent "How does this vopatizing 41-year-old have 7 points in 10 games" Seabrook from a sweet feed by Darnell Nurse. So STL wins and leads the series 1-0.
