Elsewhere, Carey Price was perfect, making 18 saves in a 4-0 win over Philadelphia, Anaheim vs Buffalo was a goalie duel (Benjamin Gaudreau and Steve Mason stopping 24 of 25 and 22 of 23 respectively), Alex Nylander picked up 3 assists as the Avs put 5 past Nedeljkovic, and Taylor Beck tied the game with 13 seconds left to grab a point for the Predators against Minnesota.

Finally, over in Arizona, Alexander Burmistrov managed to get himself a 10min game misconduct before the end of the 2nd period, having kicked things off with a fight against noted tough guy Jonathan Drouin just 15 seconds into the game, followed by a fight with Nicolas Meloche just 17 seconds into the second period. He also got himself a 1 goal and 1 assist, despite spending 2.5x as much time in the penalty box as he did on the ice.
