FLA upsets LA 3-1 in a very nearly statistically impossible Stanley Cup Final matchup, thanks to Justin Sourdif's winner at 13:37 of the 3rd (nice) and an ENG.
VAN defeats MIN 5-3 to keep in the hunt for their first playoff berth in... a while.
TOR blows a 2-0 lead, and then a 3-2 in the third against NYI as the race for 7th in the East is, um, inevitable due to the league's playoff structure. The Isles' top line of Adam Fantilli, Adam Kempe and Magnus Paajarvi-Svensso each net 2 points in the win.
The Devils also blow 2 leads, albeit of just one goal, and the Sabres scored the tying and winning goals midway through the third, icing things off with an ENG. Bereglazov and Greenway fought 15 seconds into the game and only one more roughing penalty was called for the remaining 59:45. BUF now leads NJ via tiebreak for the 8th seed in the East, despite both being 4 games below .500.
PIT defeated WAS 4-2 with shots 35-15, as Andrei Vasilevski didn't feel up to posting another shutout to steal the win for WAS.
OTT defeats STL in the fourth road win of the night and the second possibly Stanley Cup Final matchup (ehhhh). The bigger news is that Dylan Cozens gets 4 games for knocking out Team Canada star Connor McDavid for 25 days. Well you know what, he wasn't guaranteed to make the team anyway, so whatever. Also, STL killed off the major penalty and then immediately allowed two 5v5 goals.
