As the crazy IRL finals started last night, we return to our own crazy battle here in the WCF. Back in DET, the Wangs have turned (panicked) to Nico Dawes. The Sharks try (threaten) to make their coaches play Tkachuk more. Let's see how it goes...
PERIOD 1:
As has been the case this series, SJ jumps out to an early lead, with Quentin Musty (unassisted) less than 2 minutes in. 4 out of 6 penalties this period, but, SHOCKINGLY, no goals.
PERIOD 2:
Tkachuk takes advantage of his additional play time scoring his 5th (unassisted... Do the sharks just... Not pass?) But DET storms back, with Danault and Reinhart with their 7th and 5th, respectively. 2-2 going into the third.

Well, since you asked, DET Passing:118/124=95 % and SJ Passing:59/64=92 % would indicate that they can but simply chose not to in this game.
There are other things I could note but most of all it would be nice if Kopitar would stop picking up a minus every game and if his wingers could maybe start shooting better than 10%. Or 6%, in Tarasenko's case.
