Game four began quickly with Detroit Red Wings legend Patrick Kane scoring his 16th of the playoffs just under a minute into the game, with Stamkos picking up an assist.
Then there was nothing. And nothing. And nothing.
...until the last minute of the second period, when Jonatan Berggren made it 2-0 for the Flyers, assisted by Kane and, once again, Stamkos.
Presumably Rob Blake tore into the Sharks in the second intermission, because Anze Kopitar got them back into it ~2 minutes into the period and Kaapo Kakko tied it up ~8min in.
Zach Budish regained the Flyers' lead just prior to the halfway mark, but Keegan Kolesar managed to even things up with just under five minutes to go in the game.
So off to overtime we go! Where Steven Stamkos got his third point of the game, bringing the Flyers to the brink of their first Cup since the 1970s
