Washington and Carolina's goaltending do their jobs tonight, Calgary doubles up Nashville in shots in a Flames victory, while the Canucks hold division rival Minnesota to just 7 shots. http://ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip has what ails ya'.

Fun fact of the evening: SJ remains perfect on the PK through 4 games, while Atlanta is still looking for its 1st PP goal 5 games into the new season.

One goal on seven shots? Luo up to his old tricks apparently..Not to meniton 0/6 on the PP...that game could have gotten ugly. Unimpressed.

Jokinen's channelling some Forsberg-like playmaking...it's too bad Backstrom is playing more like Jeff Shantz rather than Joe Sakic right now, because two All-Star level centers would be beast.

I hope this doesn't start a trend of goaltending and a terrible 4th line losing me games again. I think I've gone through 12+ 4th line players since the league started.

The only concern I have is the inefficiency of the PP right now... 0/5 doesn't look very good.
