Toronto computer problems

Post by TorontoGM »

Hard drive on my laptop kicked the bucket and it's the only computer with EHM. Luckily I have a new laptop on the way already and should be here in the next 2 weeks.

Just make sure that you run EHM as an administrator, since I assume it will have Windows 7 or whatever shit Apple has now.

I'm not getting an apple but I'll make sure I do that. I would try it on the other computers but their for work/school and I barely get time on them after work.

If you use PlayerScout, you'll have to run that as an admin as well.

Unless you get a PC with Windows 7 Premium or Pro or something. Then you should just be able to use XP Compatibility Mode.

I have yet to sim on my new laptop, so I'm interested to see how that goes and if I have any real problems. If you run EHM once as an admin, update the file, and forget to run as admin, it has the previous file, not the one you overwrote with.

It's truly amazing how unreliable some companies are. They said 4 to 6 weeks when they were suppose to say 8 to 10 weeks. So it's still not here but hopefully it comes in the next week or so. Really sorry about my extreme lack of activity but without ehm, I'm pretty useless as a GM. Haha

Well, that ordeal is finally over. So I got my laptop FINALLY. Just gotta get it all set up and running smoothly and hopefully I can get instructions sent in the next couple days.

Sorry about the whole thing but its not like my team suffered without me. haha

After a long time suffering, my computer has finally been formatted. I don't have EHM back yet, but maybe next time I install it I will be able to look at Buffalo and Calgary's rosters without runtime errors. Maybe.
