The only notable thing on the night was Nashville managing the unusual feat of being 200% on the powerplay 👀

(they scored 2 goals on their only powerplay, a 5min major for attempt to injure. On a related note, Milan Michalek has a 5 game suspension and Ryan Stoa is out "more than a month")

Trades have already paid off! :P

BTW Kassian's new salary must be 3.45M, Carolina retaining 50% of it.

Two losses to Calgary already this year. Not good.

Another conflicting W, my additions are playing too well. Stupid sexy Nelson (insert angry Homer face). Kovy goal watch up to 890, 4 more to tie Gretz. Marner out there doing his best Bure impression with the flying elbows, terrible timing. Nathan Noel beats up Milan Michalek twice, what a beauty defending his teammate. True old school hockey ensues with 7 (!) off setting roughing penalties per team. Didn’t realize Nashville and Montreal were such bitter rivals.

Not a fan of blowing a 3-0 lead, but definitely a fan of regaining it in just over 2 minutes. Also Jack Campbell rules (this is all going to fall apart once this 6-game home stand ends).

I'm aware. But anyway, it's clear that Kassian was holding back Carolina's potent offense.
