Ryan Gropp was an extremely useful addition, especially while being so super cheap, I decided to narrow my depth a bit, as it's still very deep in order to get some future assets and this deal provides me that. I still like my team and I believe this team does have what it takes to be a serious contender again. Good deal Avs and best of luck with Gropp. He needs more icetime anyway.

Avs accept. Gropp is a great long-term piece for the third line and PK. We have tons of defence prospects and tons of picks, so not much of a loss there. Lammikko goes back to create a roster spot and Gendron will take Demin's place in the AHL.
