ANA - BOS

Post by Bruins »

Anaheim Gets:
BOS 1st 2010
BOS 2nd 2011
D Yuri Alexandrov
BOS 1st 2012

Boston gets:
D Scott Neidermayer

Alexandrov's comparable to a overager in the 1st Rd. He should skyrocket once he gets any playing time (even AHL). Not sure if I'll be able to sign Neidermayer after his current contract but he will no doubt propel an already potent attack.

Surprisingly enough, this only barely moves me over the cap and will be back under for the preseason.

Confirmed.

Niedermayer will be retiring in the next 2-3 years, and I don't see myself as a contender in that timeframe.

Two 1sts, a serviceable young defenceman, and a 2nd rounder is a good return.

Thanks.

***Also, Alexandrov's CON is (75) and Niedermayer's is (85).

After much deliberation, the Committee has unanimously rejected this trade.

Per the EHEC Rulebook, both teams can submit a PM to receive an explanation of the Committee's decision.

At least Neidermayer stayed out West.
