Let's keep the theme of blockbuster trades rolling right along.
TO STL: Marian Gaborik (80), Antoine Vermette (61), Mathieu Garon (61), and CBJ 3rd 2011
TO CBJ: David Backes (70), STL 1st 2010, and Ty Conklin (60)
Tough to see Gaborik go, and stay in the division, but I get two impact players and get a chance to move up in the draft that I worked my ass off on. Vermette's a tremendous depth guy/2nd line C with great faceoff ability, but I couldn't pass up the chance to get a stronger two-way player in Backes.

Re: CBJ/STL
I accept.
St.Louis needed an offensive weapon and Gaborik is one of the pure snipers in this league. I'm very excited to put my hands on the Maurice Richard Trophy winner. Vermette brings versatility being a solid two-way center and Garon comes in challenging Hannu Toivonen for the starting job.
Hate to see Backes and a Top 10 pick leave, especially to a division rival, but there is a price to pay for a 50 goal scorer.
