I was looking for a rental player and Dubinsky is the right fit. His 99 SH will help my powerplay and my third line. For two millions over I get Richards that is a better player than Sedin. McNabb was a prospect in my farm but I didn't mind let him go.

good deal - I free up a chunk of salary space - still at 50 contracts but I get a strong D prospect back in McNabb who already makes my blue line better by dropping Gedig.

While I will miss Dubinsky's nack for goals - there are others that will be taking his place ( Reinhart, a signing ). Sedin is locked up for next season as well and will likely do better on a higher line than where he was playing.
