Yah that trade is weird.
But playing alongside with Brian Lee, I truely believe that Phaneuf will fit better than Doughty.
Basically we're trading positionning and playmaking abilities for shooting and hitting. Phaneuf has more leadership also, which doesn't hurt (Doughty is younger though). To (finally!) convince James, I had to add Raymond who's still a nice depth player.
