Marc Staal (NAS) gets 6 games (repeat offender) for destroying Marcus Foligno (COL) for two months.

Only the scoreboard matters, as Arizona dominates the stats, but Varlamov steals the shootout for Philly, 4-3;
Pittsburgh cruises over a floundering Winnipeg squad, 4-1;
Columbus gets a new GM and goes out and drops a snowman on the Caps, 8-2 is the final;
Tampa survives a late Carolina rally to win on the road, 4-2;
Montreal rides two middle-frame power play goals to top Dallas, 4-2;
Florida holds off Detroit 5-3 to keep up their strong play of late;
Five points (3g-2a) for Kuznetsov as Nashville totally disrepects the Avalanche, 7-3;
Sheahan scores late in OT to complete a 3-goal comeback for the Flames over a game Buffalo team, 4-3;
Edmonton holds off Minny to win an offensive show, 5-4;
Ekblad with his first career goal as Vancouver wins the third period and the game over Anaheim, 5-3.

With Foligno down, Colorado'll need a call up.

Columbus (65,591,666), Edmonton (64,950,416), Minnesota (64,950,416), and the Islanders (65,044,271) are over the cap. Columbus has already posted their fix (Nieves) while I believe both Edmonton and Minnesota are over thanks to players coming off the IR and can both simply demote someone to get under (Edmonton's at 24 skaters while Minny's at 23). The Islanders will be because of the Sedlak promotion so they'll have to demote Bigras or find some other fix.
