I had hoped Giroux could provide some scoring, but it has not worked out. Despite his good contract, I will create some cap space with this move. Chicago's second will land a good playoff rental; I'm hopeful Dan can turn things around.

Giroux is my favorite, real life player. I just spent 15 spots approx at the draft to get him, so aint bad. I have room for a UFA still, so could still resign him.
