Dallas wanted these 2 players, I asked him to make an offer, he did, we exchanged a couple of negotiations and voila, a trade was born.

Recently, I've been looking for a two-way defenseman,especially a d-man who can also contribute offensively and help my first line to produce more and to improve my power-play as well and Godfrey with this booming slapshot, can really help me out. I also love his contract and he's still young. Heatherington is very interesting prospect and can become a top-4 defenseman in a year or two and I don't believe I would draft better players with those picks I've included in this offer so this deal is great for me. Thanks for the easy dealing

P.S.: I haven't had access to PC when we were making the deal, so this morning I found that I don't have 3rd rnd pick DAL 2015 but 3rd rnd pick MIN 2015 - hope that's not a problem for anybody.
