Confirmed. All of the top teams are adding big guns, so I feel like I can't let this opportunity to grab a top goalscorer slip by. Simply put, I think the Sharks will be a better team and have a higher chance at winning the Cup (also exiting the first round) with Kovalchuk than with Jarnkrok & Di Giuseppe. Granted, those two might outscore Kovalchuk combined this season and they're cheaper for now, but I'll still have 6 80+ OF forwards after the swap and enough grindy bottom 6ers to at least have a not-dreadful PK. Lindblom is a quality prospect and will eventually develop into a better defensive forward than anyone on my team save Getzlaf, but he's a couple of years away at least. I get another U20 slot back and hopefully can pick up a comparable player in the 2015 draft.

Confirmed.

Trading Kovy is hard to do but we were going to be just over the cap and I figured I could get a good return on Kovy. We still have a quality top 6 as Jarnkrok is a pretty solid replacement for Kovy and this trade adds a bit to our bottom 6 with Di Giuseppe being a good PK guy and he will add some depth which I feel we are lacking. Lindblom will eventually be a very good two way forward which is always nice.
