To San Jose:
Phillip Di Giuseppe [80]
To Washington:
Erik Cole [72]
Boston's fourth round pick in 2015
PDG is on the verge of getting pushed off the roster by more talented forwards in the system, so it's hard to justify his ~$3.2M contract extension after this season is up. Cole's most likely a one-year rental, but is a better fit for my third line now. The pick offsets the age gap a bit.

Aye. I like the concept of Erik Cole, but his last two seasons have been disappointing despite his con boost. Maybe it's the low endurance, I don't know, but he wasn't contributing offensively or helping the PK.
Di Giuseppe should do well on an NZT line and could improve the PK. He will get a substantial raise next season but he saves me 1M now and he can probably net me a better return than Cole would at the end of the season.
