Big fan of only holding Dallas to 19 shots. Of course Mason tried to suck enough to lose, but three straight huge saves in the shootout. Now if I could get my 2nd line to produce...

Which is pathetic given 9 PPs and the way EHM treats PPs.

Boston wins a big divisional game to build their lead in the Northeast, the Lightning absolutely ream the Islanders as Stamkos returns from injury with a couple of goals, while San Jose shows they still have a pulse in the playoff hunt. Nashville shows they're no slouches in their mauling of the Avs, Columbus comes out on top of a 7 round shootout, and the Battle of California decides it don't need no stinkin' even strength goals to determine a winner. http://ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip explains the rest.

I'll be happy if I still have a playoff spot when AO comes back.

It's gonna be a long three weeks.

Olympic Break starts Feb. 15. I think you'll be alright.

That said, do I keep him off Team Russia due to injury?

Perhaps if Hershey can lose three (soon to be four) of its top forwards due to callups/trades and keep winning, maybe Washington and Russia can do without AO for a bit. He's no Alex Burrows. 8-)

14:32 2-0 NYR Marc Staal [1] (Chris Chelios, Wayne Primeau)
Now that's what I call scoring in depth! ;)

Big win for us in the midst of an even bigger set of games this month. All praise to Mark Stuart.
