To all Calgary Flames fans out there: we're going for it all. This playoff push is going to cost us a couple assets. With the other deal we made today, we feel that the team is deep enough to be legitimate contenders again this year. Ownership is ready for that gamble. Let's see how far we can make it.

Short explanation: I gave up Sedin (also his salary 6,1) and I was not interested in re-signing him because I already have better offensive players in my organization like him (Vatanen, Loktionov, Kolarik) and now I got another one (Khlokhachev), who is also only 20 years old and I also got 3rd rnd pick in return, which is never a bad thing.
