To CGY: Anton Saveliev(60), Colby Armstrong(63)
To CBS: Chris Campoli(65), CGY's 2nd pick in 2014
Exactly the kind of trade I needed for Chris Campoli. I feel like I was only using him for his DEF abilities and therefor he was kind of underperforming.
Saveliev is mostly a physical player but I feel he will do just fine filling in that spot where Campoli was.
Armstrong will help round out my bottom 6 and he is also a guy that with a great physical upside.
With my top 2 lines lighting up the scoreboard I feel like those physical players with minor roles will help my team go further.
The 2nd round pick made things even for the both of us.
Always a pleasure, Adam.

Columbus confirms.
I hate giving up a beast like Saveliev, but he has a raise coming on the horizon that won't fit into my plans, so I wanted to get something for him. What sucks is that he participated in 14 fights, so I'll have to recall Liedes and hope he keeps Danault from fighting, but it's worth it to get a guy like Campoli. Four of my six defensemen had stickhandling ratings below 64 and I think that was contributing to some of my struggles. Campoli's a good two-way guy and will pair well with any of my defensemen. Armstrong's inclusion was my idea to help balance out the salaries. I don't like losing two 94+ HI guys in one trade, but I had a need to fill and it's the cost of doing business.
