To Edmonton:
Kevin Shattenkirk (83)
Eric Tangradi (76)

To Los Angeles:
Austin Watson (70)
Mirko Hoefflin (79)
Zack Stortini (84)
Matthew Beattie (50)

The Oilers agree to this deal. Things aren't working so well in Edmonton and my team's biggest weakness has been adressed with the acquisition of Kevin Shattenkirk. I was in desperate need of a puck moving d-man with a good shot and they are hard to get. A hard hitting center with a decent shot, Tangradi will do just fine pivoting my 3rd line.

Sometimes a fresh start is all you need and I'm sure Hoefflin and Watson will have an impact in LA. But on my team, everything I tried with these two was a failure. Hugo likes Beattie a lot -understandably- and Stortini is a salary dump.

So it is what it is, I needed my offensive d-man and asked Hugo about Shattenkirk. He's had a man-crush on both Hoefflin and Watson for a while now so it was pretty easy to get this done.

Accepted.

Wasn't looking to deal Shattenkirk, but i wasn't sastified about his play and the numbers he put so far, so when Mike ask me about him, i though it was the right time to move him, with his 3.9M contract and Cody Ceci coming up very quickly. I'll have big contract negociation for key players in years to come, so i'll have to trade him sooner or later. Like Mike said, i was looking for both Hoefflin and Watson for a while, they both can play in all situation, Hoefflin will take Horcoff role in couple of years. Like Beattie too, doesn't have a good CON, but he will have good offensive numbers some days.
