F David Booth [75]

Confirmed.

Pretty simple swap, but the main focus for me is cutting an additional $800K in cap space, meaning I have about $3.4M to spend on a bottom 6 winger and a #5-#6 dman. I think I lose out a little bit value wise, as Booth's offensive upside heavily outweighs that of Carey Underwood's man, however, Fisher can still play a defensive role, has good CON, and replaces some of the LE I lost in Arnott and Koivu leaving. His 78 FA isn't too much of a concern to me as Holland will be handling the faceoff duties anyway. Thanks Tim, always a pleasure and will be another fun battle this year.

P.S. - Stole your use of the headers Bern, pretty cool.

Confirmed. Continuing the annual off-season purge of underachievers. Booth fits a top six role better than Fisher does and a second line of Wolski/Jokinen/Booth can play a more versatile style than if I had Friberg in there full-time. Hofmann stole Fisher's spot as third-line center anyways, and it'll be easier to find a third-line winger rather than a second-line winger. The pick balances out Booth's superior OF and the slight age gap.

Thanks, Brad.
