I've been pissed off at my team lately, and I believe Adam is just as choked with his. Here are the culprits. Tangradi was solid up until the all-star break ish. The offense has dried up, and Tangradi is the odd-man out. He's a solid player, 30 pts, 7.30 rating, 130 hits given, $1.8M contract is not bad, but not scoring in 9 games means you're on the way out in this cut-throat market.

Voracek is having his own struggles, but I'm hoping a new team, new town, new linemates will spark him up and he'll be a solid contributor to my top 6. The last remaining pick from the Nemeth deal is now gone, but now I traded Nemeth and Tangradi and in return got Cohen, Booth, Voracek, and Moen. Solid return in my eyes, hopefully team will pick it back up and play the way they were playing pre-Feb.

I begrudgingly accept. I really felt I'd get more value out of Voracek, but he seems to be one of those players that EHM has pegged as an underachiever. He has pretty good offensive variables, but is a one trick pony defensively. I'll be happy to add another high SH, high HI forward to my group and hope that Tangradi can be a useful player. Voracek had been surpassed on the depth chart by a lot of guys while I'm trying to find some kind of combination that works, so I just don't think there's a spot for him.

I save 1.8M in this deal in the future and also pick up my fourth 1st round pick in this year's draft. We'll see if it pans out. At this point, I'm willing to try anything.
