This deal works perfect for me. Moen will jump right in to the bottom six, and that way I don't have Nattinen playing (unless someone gets hurt). He has good CON, good LE, and can hit, while being signed to a relatively cheap deal.

Booth is currently injured, but should be back in late March / early April which will be just in-time for playoffs. I wasn't too hot with keeping Tangradi on my top line for playoffs. He's done a solid job thus far, with 27 points, +9 and a 7.30 average rating, however to compete with PIT,WSH, and CAR I felt I needed to upgrade my top 6.

My team is second in the league in goals for, but I felt I needed the upgrade. Booth has decent CON, can play either wing, and can really play anywhere in the line-up. Whether it be on a scoring line, or trapping, he's got the tools to play either strategy. He's locked in long-term at $4.25M, which for a player of his skill set I can handle.

Trading Booth wasn't something I was thrilled to do, but I think I get a good return for him. Moen never cracked my lineup on a regular basis. He should have added value to a playoff team.

Adding the picks will now give me four selections in the top 35-40 of this year's draft. We're definitely building for the future, and these two picks should bring me two good-to-very-good players.
