To Columbus:
Esa Lindell (56)
To Colorado:
Daniel Paille (68)
Thanks Adam. Paille is a nice shutdown center that I desperately need with Ryan O'Reilly's annual 6 month injury. Seemingly every game I get burned by the gap that O'Reilly's injury left in my roster, and I have very little room for error. I drafted Lindell for value at the time, but he was never in my plans as a low CON defenseman. Lindell could develop to be a nice defenseman down the line, but with that type of consistency it could be a while before he's ready for NHL ice time. Good luck!

Re: Columbus - Colorado
I accept. I had to move a bottom six forward to get a roster spot for Forney and Paille was the odd man out because he's a poor hitter and was getting whiny about ice time. My choices for Paille were a late 2nd round pick in 2014, COL 3rd, or Lindell, and Lindell should have the highest ceiling of those assets. I don't know how I'd feel about putting a low CON defenseman out there, but he'll be a good puckmover, a good skater, and has the potential to be as high as 77 DF with some overdevelopment. Along with 85 PL and mid-70s shooting, Lindell's a pretty good asset to have.
The fact that Paille comes on a cheap contract and should be an easy guy for Quinn to re-sign after this season, since he's unlikely to get a sizable raise in arbitration, allowed him to give up a player like Lindell. The CON limits his value, but I like his skill set and could find a place to use him.
