Re: 2012-13 Salary Cap Numbers
My GMCP says I'm at 59432083 ... I should not have that Colin White penalty for this season.
Adam and I just discussed this and we found out I should be at the number my GMCP says.
Thanks.

Re: 2012-13 Salary Cap Numbers
I have to double check all of the buyouts. I'm not sure if I edited that list or not. Calgary is under, he's correct. I didn't take away the Colin White buyout. Something tells me there's more. That'll be what I do with my Friday afternoon.

Re: 2012-13 Salary Cap Numbers
Adam, I get approx 51.5m in current salaries plus 9.75m for buyouts. I'm still a bit over, but thats because of the injuries to Fowler and Budish.

Re: 2012-13 Salary Cap Numbers
I should be around 58 mil or so with the Emery buyout, the last EHEC file I had still had Courachaine, Holtby and Marchand on the pro team instead of the farm.
Once they're moved, I'm fine.
EDIT: Somehow I screwed up moving those 3, but once they move I'll be fine cap-wise.

Re: 2012-13 Salary Cap Numbers
Wtf with the Islanders? Did he make all those off-season moves and then leave?
EDIT: Ok, he's around. 80 million...weren't you at the floor last season? Did you clone Glen Sather?

Once I double check the buyouts tomorrow, everything should be fine.
Tim's using Excel for this, so the math is undoubtedly right. Just a matter of if the buyouts are right or not.

Holy shit, I have quite a bit more cap space than I thought. I could have kept Gonchar this year!
Good thing I don't do math for a living.

Re: 2012-13 Salary Cap Numbers
I just added my salaries up for the 3rd time, I get the same number: $51,424,307.Commissioner (CBJ) wrote:Once I double check the buyouts tomorrow, everything should be fine.

If I'm adding the buyouts up right, Handzus and Jagr together are 9.75. That's approx 1.2m over. When Fowler and Budish are back, I will be under.
If I'm missing something, please let me know; 65m was quite the shock and I'm not sure where that number is coming from. Even if he's adding the total salary from the buyouts (13m) you would still get 64 point something.....

Re: 2012-13 Salary Cap Numbers
$51,424,307 base is right. Total buyout salary including the Huet contract accounts for $13,968,750, which is the discrepancy.

Like I said, I have to double check all of the buyouts today.

my guess is that all buyouts have 1 year less than what is currently shown in thread ! I bought out Mitchell's contract in summer 2011 and it still shown for this season while it should done deal !Tampa Bay GM wrote:Huet's contract expired last year, Im guessing thas the reason why Im so over.

Then you should have demoted him. It's not our job to read your mind. He was likely called up during the preseason because of injury and you didn't care to send anything that entire month.Montreal Canadiens wrote:Theo Peckham is on the Pro team as well, and shouldn't be.Commissioner (CBJ) wrote:With Jones demoted and Nokelainan on LTIR, you're at 60,510,417, which is still over the cap.Montreal Canadiens wrote:Just had to demote David Jones.
All demotions need to be posted in the appropriate Waiver Wire thread. You're not new at this.
