Draft Lottery

Post by GM Office Q »

Is the Draft Lottery the same as last year, to be held tomorrow based on NHL results?

If so...

25.0% Ottawa Senators (NHL-CBJ)
18.8% Minnesota Wild (NHL-EDM)
14.2% Colorado Avalanche (NHL-MTL)
10.7% Dallas Stars (NHL-NYI)
08.1% Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL-TOR)
-----------------------------------------------
06.2% Detroit Red Wings
04.7% New York Islanders
03.6% New Jersey Devils
02.7% Florida Panthers
02.1% Edmonton Oilers
01.5% Anaheim Ducks
01.1% Tampa Bay Lightning
00.8% Vancouver Canucks
00.5% Buffalo Sabres

Sounds like I'll have to cheer for Toronto to get Yakupov in both leagues. Oh well, he can't possibly have as horrible a rookie season as EHEC Taylor Hall or as mushy a brian as NHL Taylor Hall, right?

Our top five draft order:
1. Minnesota Wild
2. Ottawa Senators
3. Colorado Avalanche
4. Dallas Stars
5. Toronto Maple Leafs

Funny that EHEC Wild could have Yakupov & RNH together, just like the NHL Oilers. The NHL Oilers are still a more pathetic organization than any previously-orphaned EHEC team.

Grigorenko is looking pretty sweet in our file though, probably better than Yakupov especially if you need a center.

Hey thats MY Oilers you are talking smack about. We're gonna be much better moving ahead then we have been in the past. We've never had a top 4 pick till Hall then we get 3 in a row - Which NHL org would you rather be - Flames or Oilers :)
