2010-2011 EHEC Awards

The EHEC has released the annual list of award nominees! For each category in which the winner is voted, there are three nominees. It is your duty as a GM to look at the nominated players' stats to make your vote. The main factors to consider when you vote are the players' team, linemates and proven abilities.


HERE ARE THE CANDIDATES FOR THE 2010-2011 SEASON:

Vezina Trophy (Annual award given to the goalie that best excels in his position)

1. Martin Brodeur, Tampa Bay Lightning
2. Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers
3. Evgeni Nabokov, San Jose Sharks

Jack Adams Award (Annual award given to the EHEC GM/Coach adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success)

-New formula this year! Vote for the GM/Coach of the season out of all 30 teams.-

Calder Memorial Trophy (Annual award given to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the EHEC)

3. Andrei Loktionov, Calgary Flames

Hart Memorial Trophy (Annual award given to the player judged to be the most valuable to his team)

1. Thomas Vanek, Buffalo Sabres
2. Shane Doan, Phoenix Coyotes
3. Jarome Iginla, Pittsburgh Penguins

Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (Annual award given to the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability)

1. Paul Ranger, Tampa Bay Lightning
2. Mikko Koivu, Carolina Hurricanes
3. Anze Kopitar, Pittsburgh Penguins

James Norris Memorial Trophy (Annual award given to the defense player who demonstrates throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in the position)

1. Shea Weber, Nashville Predators
2. Brent Seabrook, Chicago Blackhawks
3. Chris Pronger, Philadelphia Flyers

Frank J. Selke Trophy (Annual award given to the forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game)

1. Eric Staal, Carolina Hurricanes
2. Rick Nash, Columbus Blue Jackets
3. Maxim Lapierre, Montreal Canadiens

John Bucyk Trophy (Annuel award, given out this year for the first time, to the player that had the most surprising impact on his team)

1. Patrick Berglund, St.Louis Blues
2. Mark Streit, Calgary Flames
3. Dustin Tokarski, Tampa Bay Lightning

Bob Probert Award (Annuel award, given out this year for the first time, to the most fierced agitator in the league)

1. Jordin Tootoo, Nashville Predators

3. Ian Laperriere, Philadelphia Flyers
