1. Should we do an EHEC March Madness Bracket challenge?
Doesn't interest me at all. Basketball ain't my thing.

2. What are your thoughts on these three musical acts: Bush, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band?
''Oasis - Wonderwall'' is the only song I know. Good song.

3. How many people do you have in your life that you think you can rely on no matter what?
Theres a saying that says you can count your true friends on the fingers of your hand. 5.

4. If you were able to fly, what's the first place you would fly to?
I would fly to Camp Nou (Barcelona's stadium) during a Real Madrid-Barcelona game. That'd be crazy!

5. What do you think of horse racing?
I come from a horse racing family. It was my grand father's life. He bought a horse that won lots of races and my mom and her family would go see the horse race all over the continent. He was called Benfab. Ben for ''Benoit'' (my second family name) and Fab for ''Fabulous'' cause he destroyed everyone. Here in Montreal we don't have horse races anymore because they weren't popular enough. But, we have a huge track (Hippodrome de Montreal) and a fancy restaurant my grand father used to take us. http://www.pedigreequery.com/ben+fab

Sure, why not. Not that I've kept up with the NCAA this year at all. Can we get extra CON points for playing? :P

2. What are your thoughts on these three musical acts: Bush, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band?
My wife used to work for some friends of Dave Matthews. Said he was creepy and hit on all the women. And are Bush and Oasis still around? Have the Gallaghers killed each other yet?

3. How many people do you have in your life that you think you can rely on no matter what?
Three. Wife and my parents.

4. If you were able to fly, what's the first place you would fly to?
Calgary for their amazing newspapers.

5. What do you think of horse racing?
Not really into it. Hey Bern: wonder what they had on the menu at that fancy horse racing restaurant...

Sure, I haven't paid attention really this year, but I'd give it a go.

2. What are your thoughts on these three musical acts: Bush, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band?

Don't know anything by "Bush", "Wonderwall" was a good track half dozen years ago and DMB have come out with a couple good tracks. Wouldn't see either of them in concert or anything like that.

3. How many people do you have in your life that you think you can rely on no matter what?

I'd say just my mom.

4. If you were able to fly, what's the first place you would fly to?

Spain. Absolutely. No question about it.

5. What do you think of horse racing?

Never understood the thrill behind it.

1. Should we do an EHEC March Madness Bracket challenge?

yes, so i can come in last on another bracket.

2. What are your thoughts on these three musical acts: Bush, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band?

BUSH - no opinion OASIS - good band; total rock-n-roll DAVE MATTHEWS BAND - best thing i ever heard about them is the best thing i ever heard; friend of mine with a music mag (and was in one of the great bands of all time, TOTAL PASSOVER), critiqued them as "music for people who don't like music"

3. How many people do you have in your life that you think you can rely on no matter what?

5 seems like a good number. maybe more; i consider myself blessed, always have

4. If you were able to fly, what's the first place you would fly to?

Dave Bs bar right now. planning on going tomorrow night, and have a semi working already. and for Bern: MADRID!!!!

5. What do you think of horse racing?

1. Should we do an EHEC March Madness Bracket challenge?

My college basketball handicapping has been atrocious. So of course I'll do a bracket.

2. What are your thoughts on these three musical acts: Bush, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band?

Glycerine by Bush is one of the most underrated songs of all time. Same for Oasis's Champagne Supernova. Never got in to DMB and don't listen to anything more than the big songs from Bush/Oasis.

3. How many people do you have in your life that you think you can rely on no matter what?

Two. Unless my dog counts. Then three.

4. If you were able to fly, what's the first place you would fly to?

Somewhere warm and carefree.

5. What do you think of horse racing?

Never really got in to it. Hate how they have to euthanize a horse when it breaks its leg. Much prefer the dog track.

1. Should we do an EHEC March Madness Bracket challenge?

Makes no difference to me, but I'm not interested in participating.

2. What are your thoughts on these three musical acts: Bush, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band?

I wouldn't really call myself a fan of any of these bands, but each one has at least one song I love:

Bush - Glycerine
Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger (even though the guitar riff is a bad ripoff of "Imagine" by John Lennon)
Oasis - The Shock of the Lightning
Dave Matthews - Crash

3. How many people do you have in your life that you think you can rely on no matter what?

Zero. "No matter what" is pretty extreme. I can think of at least one scenario where every person I trust becomes unreliable.

4. If you were able to fly, what's the first place you would fly to?

I don't think I'd have a destination in mind, I'd just fucking FLY.

5. What do you think of horse racing?

As long as the horses are treated humanely I guess I'm okay with it, but I don't gamble on it or even watch it.

1. Should we do an EHEC March Madness Bracket challenge?

meh

2. What are your thoughts on these three musical acts: Bush, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band?

meh, couldnt name a single song from any of those groups but I have enjoyed the limited amount of DMB I've heard.

3. How many people do you have in your life that you think you can rely on no matter what?

One, my mother.

4. If you were able to fly, what's the first place you would fly to?

Flying around the clouds would be fucken killer, but if possible the MOON aka my girl Luna.

5. What do you think of horse racing?

I enjoy watching horse racing cause the horses are incredible animals but it's turned into a huge money making behemoth that I believe produces some of the biggest scumbags on the planet but at the same time I have a huge amount of respect for the people who own, breed, train, and race horces. Anyone else watch the new HBO series, Luck? Awesome show. I have whippets(Small greyhounds), and I've been involved with whippet racing for over 13 years so I kind of know the lifestyle except from the fact that whippet racing is a hobby and there is no gambling involved. I just enjoy watching incredible animals running crazy fast.

Do you know what happens to the Greyhounds who aren't fast enough to race in the US? Most of the time, they get euthanized....

1. If you like. It'd be like throwing darts at a board for me, though.

2. Bush (x!) - Kind of just mashed into that whole post-grunge "alt-rock" wasteland, though that one album that Steve Albini produced was less... meh than the rest of their stuff, I can't really 'hear' them in my head, other than 'Gli-SIR-EEN' over and over... so... no.
Oasis - Was okay. Britpop is not my thing. I have 'Married With Children' on my iPod, for some reason. Liked them a bit when I was a teenager, and they're okay to sing along to or whatever. Don't think they deserve much goodwill for their post-1995 albums, or their notoriety, but they're just a pop band. It's not their fault that any silly kid with a guitar will try to play Wonderwall to impress a girl.
Dave Matthews - consummate 'adult alternative' bleah. My parents bought an album when they were everywhere, I don't think it stayed in their rotation, so... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 'inessential.'

3. Depends, doesn't it. What if no matter what includes a betrayal of one of these people? I'm going to guess (and leave it to chance) that I would be surprised by the lengths the right friend might go for me in a given scenario, though I really shouldn't that for granted.

4. Right now? Dress warmly and find myself a mountain. Could use an impressive view.

5. It's firmly in the category of 'things my grandfather likes that no one else I know does' alongside James Lee Burke, Ernest Tubb, Kohlrabi, PT Cruisers and Old Milwaukee. No strong opinion, really.

Yeah, it will be nice.

2. What are your thoughts on these three musical acts: Bush, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band?
Just know couple of song of Bush and Oasis, really like ''Wonderwall''. DMB, i wasn't a big fan at the start, but since a couple of years, i like it.

3. How many people do you have in your life that you think you can rely on no matter what?
My Parents, my two sisters and maybe 3 friends

4. If you were able to fly, what's the first place you would fly to?
The Rogers Arena to see a Vancouver game and Staples Center to see Kobe and the Lakers.

5. What do you think of horse racing?
Never got in to it, but really like Casino horse racing.

Do they? Never knew. Can't see why they can't just be adopted. Not as hard to take care of as a horse.

They still are, but there are a lot of greyhound rescue/adoption agencies out there. I know several friends who have adopted one (or more) and/or volunteer at one. But yeah, it is still pretty common for loser dogs to be abandoned or killed.
