to the Minnesota Wild:
Bryan McCabe (con: 54)
LA 1st 2012
to the Pittsburgh Penguins:
Fedor Tyutin (con: 73)
Reasoning: As I posted on my trade block, looking to improve on D before the playoffs and I had a 1st to spare. Tyutin is my type of guy, solid defensively with a playmaking upside.
Good luck, Chris.

Reasoning:
With having another pick in the first round this gives me more options to play with regarding offense or defense. Also With rebuilding Tyutin would be in his 30's by the time this team would be competitive again and his value would be more than likely would not be as high.
Of course McCabe is a salary dump which i have plenty of room for and replaces Tyutin for the season
Good luck Pitt

Re: Minnesota Wild -- Pittsburgh Penguins
Approved.
McCabe's inclusion, aside from making a roster spot for Pittsburgh, is also so that Minnesota is above the cap floor. A late 1st is a reasonable return for Tyutin, especially with how tight the Pacific Division and Western Conference are. That pick could be anywhere from 22nd-30th. Obviously, there are varying levels of players available there, but Chris's reasoning is sound regarding Tyutin and rebuilding.
Also, there's always a chance Minnesota uses that extra first rounder to acquire a player or move up into the middle of this year's first round.
