GMs: Due to the number of AHL injuries so far in the sim, we are instituting a new policy. From now on, you can simply claim any player below 60 OA by posting it in the waiver wire forum. Just post it in the existing thread. Whatever their default salary is in the file, that's what his salary will be with your AHL team.
One stipulation: You cannot bring that player up to your NHL for at least two weeks after claiming him barring an injury.

I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean by ANY player, that means with 2-way/under 25 or not? And who is even messing with players below 60oa on the waivers anyway?Commissioner (CBJ) wrote:GMs: Due to the number of AHL injuries so far in the sim, we are instituting a new policy. Read what I wrote, Rob. Because of the rash of AHL injuries, I'm letting GMs claim players so that they can be immediately assigned to the AHL team.DevilsGM wrote:I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean by ANY player, that means with 2-way/under 25 or not? Any player below 60 OA. AHL depth. This is basically if you don't want us to just auto-line and then you sign some random player.
Some people care about their AHL team, some don't. It's better, and more economical, than some 12-hour free agent period.
